The PRRCF Board of Directors is a committed group volunteers who represent a cross section of the city of Prince Rupert. We are a registered society in BC and a charitable, non-profit organization with Revenue Canada. Since our inception, we have encouraged all prospective donors to contribute to PRRCF, as donors are people like you who care about our community. Together… we can make the difference!

Prince Rupert Regional Community Foundation History

Our startup of $35,000 was a legacy of the 1999 BC Northern Winter Games held in Prince Rupert.  On May 10, 2001 the Prince Rupert Regional Community Foundation was officially incorporated as a society and granted charitable tax status.  We became the 120th community foundation established in Canada. To date the Foundation has awarded over $ to not-for-profit community organizations since its incorporation.
